Companies from all over the United States will come to Washington, DC to display and sell their baby carriers and natural family products directly to the public. This is your chance to see and try products that are rarely available in local stores.

The event will take place at the Cafritz Conference Center at George Washington University in the heart of our nation's capital!
Don't miss our keynote speech by Susan Gmeiner, inventor and founder of Maya Wrap. She will be giving a presentation on babywearing safety: "Keeping Baby Safe Among the Trends" at noon.

DC Baby Carrier Expo
Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Cafritz Center, George Washington University
Times: Open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm
Admission: Admission is free. There will be a suggested donationation to support babywearing advocacy efforts.
The Event: A one-day only event, featuring booths from a wide variety of baby carrier designers and distributors, as well as other businesses offering natural family products and services.
How to Get There: The Expo is easily accessed from the Foggy Bottom Metro station. Street and garage parking is also available. Click here for directions to the GWU Cafritz Conference center.
Schedule:
- 10:00 am: Doors open to public
- Throughout the day: Babywearing classes and demonstrations
- 12:00 pm: Keynote Speaker - Susan Gmeiner inventor and founder of Maya Wrap - "Babywearing Safety: Keeping baby safe among the trends"
- 1:00-2:00 pm Babywearing Fashion Show
- 4:00 pm: Doors close
